#1:

FEEL –

Restored Warming Clay Mask

DSCN9469.JPGMy last experience from FEEL was super cool. I was so excited to test this mask out.

I applied this product to my already clean face, like literally 1 minute after applying this product to my face it began to give me a hot sensation. It did not get too hot, it felt warm. I have never tried a product like this before, it was truly something different.

The pros and cons of the product:

Pros:

  • Makes your skin feel squeaky clean
  • Does not make your skin feel tight while it’s on your face
  • Very smooth texture

Cons:

  • none

Rating:

5 out of 5 stars

MARC JACOBS BEAUTY –

Shameless Youthful-Look 24H Foundation SPF 25 in shade Deep Y500

Marc Jacobs Beauty is considered a luxury makeup brand. I was super shocked when this product popped up in my Ipsy Glam Bag, I was like “what?!?

Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Let me elaborate why…

The pros and cons of the product:

Pros:

  • Stays on all day
  • Does not feel sticky
  • Has a smooth texture

Cons:

  • Did not match my skin tone, it did make a great concealer

Rating:

3 out of 5 stars

CLARK’S BOTANICALS –

Retinol Rescue Overnight Cream

If you’re totally in to creams then this product will be great for you.

The pros and cons of the product:

Pros:

  • Makes you feel super refreshed in the morning
  • Has a smooth texture
  • Glides on perfectly

Cons:

  • Face will feel a tad sticky in the morning

Other than that con, everything was pleasant.

Rating:

4.5 out of 5 stars

#4:

RUBY –

Eyeshadow Blending Brush

DSCN9466.JPGI absolute love when Ipsy sends me new brushes. It makes me feel so alive. I love growing my brush collection and Ipsy has been helping me achieve that goal. Thank you Ipsy.

The pros and cons of the product:

Pros:

  • Thick
  • Sweeps makeup up perfectly with one glide
  • Applies makeup quickly
  • You do not need to constantly dab your make up brush back into the eyeshadow, it’ll pick up the shadow with one swift glide

Cons:

  • none

Rating:

5 out of 5 stars

STEVE LAURANT BEAUTY –

Blush in I’m Blushing

DSCN9460.JPG

Everyone who knows me, knows that I am not really a fan of blush. If I had to choose between blush or highlighter, I would without a doubt choose highlighter. However, this blush may help me change my views on blush.

The Pros and Cons of the product:

Pros:

  • Pigmented perfectly for women of darker skin tones like myself
  • You only have to apply lightly and only once
  • High quality product
  • Comes with a mirror inside – which makes it ideal for using this product on the go

Cons:

  • none.

(Helpful tip: do not apply more than once, you will end up looking like a pretty disaster or a gorgeous clown.)

Rating:

5 out of 5 stars
